Why Group Coaching for the Calgary Marathon?
Training for a marathon is an incredible journey, and it's even better when you don't have to go it alone. Our Group Coaching package is designed to bring runners together in a supportive, inclusive, community-driven environment. With personalized training plans, monthly team calls, and community runs for local runners, this package offers accountability, expertise, and a ton of fun.
What’s Included?
Group Coaching participants will receive:
Choice between a 12-week or 16-week coaching plan, tailored to individual needs and delivered via the TrainingPeaks platform at a Premium user level
Exclusive branded tank top ($61 value)
Regular community group runs for Calgary-based participants
A pre-race "Shake Out Run" to quell those pre-race jitters and get you pumped!
One group coaching call via Google Meet each month to discuss training, share insights, and ask questions
Access to our dedicated WhatsApp group for daily support, accountability, and all your pressing training questions
Comprehensive coaching services including run training, zone setting, endurance nutrition advice, strength training, recovery techniques, and mindfulness practices
Pre-race checklist to ensure you’re fully prepared for the big day
Pre and post-race meetup for warm-up and group celebrations (and that all-important group photo!)
Additional Features:
Ability to upgrade your tank top to a T-shirt, long-sleeve shirt, or hoodie
All plans are individualized and regularly updated based on your feedback and progress
How Much Does It Cost?
12-Week Program: $500 CAD +tax (Start date March 1, 2024)
16-Week Program: $600 CAD +tax (Start date February 1, 2024)

Do I Have to be in Calgary?
No, you don’t! Runners from all around the globe can join our coaching program. The only difference is that if you're not based in Calgary, you won't be able to participate in the community runs.
Do I Have to Be Racing the Calgary Marathon?
No, you don't have to be registered for the Calgary Marathon to join our group coaching program. We welcome all athletes who have a race event around the same timeframe. Whether you're running a local 5K, a 10K, a half marathon, or a full marathon somewhere else, our comprehensive training package can be tailored to meet your specific racing goals. This flexibility makes our program suitable for a wide range of athletes looking to better their performance with structured coaching, community support, and expert advice.
Who Is This For?
For the Full or Half Marathon: You should be able to comfortably run 20km or 10km, respectively.
For 5k or 10k: All levels, including beginners, are welcome. If you're newer to running, we recommend spending more time on our individualized plans before joining the group coaching. Contact us for more details
